These pictures were supposed to be posted few weeks ago but i am just plain lazy... Anyway, on the 22nd Nov, sat, i had an exchange outing programme with 4 Japanese interns who came to Singapore... They were from Osaka University.... So my jap class were supposed to plan an outing to go out with them but in the end, there's only zipei, freda, jingjing, jiajie and me who were involved in it... Is like almost a one-to-one session with them..lol... Labels: Outing with Japanese interns...
Here's what we did for tt day:
-Met up with the japanese interns at Eunos MRT.
-Took bus to East Coast Park. Upon arrival, we set up our picnic. Brought tibits n lots of nyonya kueh for the jap interns to try... we sat in a 'rojak' way, as in alternate seating arrangement of us and the jap interns and tried to communicate with each other..
-Then we played frisbee for like 20mins? And the weather started to turn bad. We packed up and wanted to try look for shelter.
-In the end we decided to take bus to Parkway Parade(PP) and shop ard. But we only shopped at level 1. We went in to one pet shop in PP and chiaki and Mina san were so mesmerised by the cute hamsters, esp. when there's one hamster was actually so funny while running in the wheel.
-Headed to Swensen's and had Earthquake ice cream, the rest and i wanted to treat the jap interns ice cream but they found out n wanted to treat us instead n in the end we go dutch.
-After Ice cream, took bus to geylang n had claypot rice, ordered $12 claypot rice n shared as we were rathered full. This time round, the japanese interns were fast enough to foot the bill for us.=x
- At around 9plus, we walked to aljunied mrt station, before bidding farewell, we gave the jap interns each a softtoy keychain brought earlier at PP's minitoons.
Exchanging emails.. In order to remember our face, Mina san tried to draw out our faces in animation....lol.. Kawaii ne...
