Jus now after the movie with the movie freaks, i went to line up for the shuttle bus
to Tampines IKEA/COURTS mega store as i am meeting my parents there. I waited for bout 25mins before i could board the bus. The first bus came but it was full so i waited for another 10mins and another bus came but it didnt pick us. so i waited for another 15mins later den i managed to get into the bus. Luckily i brought my mp3 along with me today to listen if not i will be bored dead waiting for the bus.I didnt get to walk IKEA as my parents had walked there before i came so i only got to take a walk at COURTS. COURTS was quite big, it has 3storeys. The 3rd storey was all electronics stuff, 2nd level was furnitures and 1st level was kitchen appliances. They even sell old model handphones at cheap prices.
My parents and i wanted to take the shuttle bus but it was a long long queue so we went to line up for the cab instead. After waiting for bout 10mins, we board the taxi which is driven by this uncle around the age of 60+, having the blur kinda look. Once we board the taxi, this taxi driver uncle started to complain this and tt. He was complaining tt the road system at IKEA not good, so many pple, y no traffic police and saying tt COURTS opening was 16 dec and has opened for bout a week plus already. After hearing all this, i was thinking y his thinking so funny... Coz actually there were a few sort of 'traffic police' and IKEA n COURTS jus opened not long and is bound to have endless pple there n this uncle was like expecting less pple to patronage there since it has opened for few weeks.lol... If so little pple go there after jus only a few weeks, i think they can close down already sia after spending millions to build it. LOL.. Whats more funny at the later part is while driving, he doesnt really seems to know the road well, den there's a road where the lightings there were not so bright n he also complain y so dark one. When my dad ask him something, i didnt reply with the relevant ans n he was talking bout some other things. I was thinking y so weird. Then when he drove to temasek poly there, he started to ask my dad where is our blk so my dad guided him by telling him left n right directions.Then there one part where there is only one way left turn, yet he still asked my dad if is turn to the right. After my dad told him yes den he awake fr his blurness n realised it too tt there is only one left turn n no right turn...Lol... So when he turned to my blk's lift there n stopped, my father paid him the money and when we were bout to get off, he asked my dad if there's an exit for cars in the front. After i got off the taxi, i started to laugh vigourously. Coz he seems really scared tt he will be lost and is quite obvious that there's exit and u can see cars driving to the front. Even if there's no exit he can always u-turn back. So i told my mum tt i was wondering if he knows the way to drive back home. My mum and i kept laughing till we get home.. Coz this uncle is really very funny la... Even my dad laughs too.
