I am back from Malaysia! Took a train last midnight at 12.05am to Singapore bout 8am i think...Didnt see the time. Of so many trips to Malaysia, this trip is fun as i got to go to many places by bokking a taxi n the driver will tour us around.. One thing i must say bout this driver is tt he is really very good as he will drive us around till late 11+pm.... He wont mind n he jokes alot n explain many things to us while touring... He has been a taxi driver for bout 20yrs already. Actually he was not the driver to tour us around, it shoud be my relative's friend who is also a driver but due to his taxi jus got repaired,he cant drive us to Genting as he scared the taxi will spoilt again when he drives uphill. Tts y in the end he called his friend to drive us. Mum,bro n Me think tt luckily is this driver who drove us if not we think tt our relative's friend, the driver wouldnt be as good as his friend.Hehe...Coz from his looks n action,we can tell tt my relative's friend is not as chatty n good tempered as his friend. Tts wat my relative thinks too...Haha.... Okay, let me give u a review of where i have been to these few 6days...
On arrival day,23rd, stayed in relative's house for 2nights in Taman Rasah. 1st night, relative drove us to Jusco shopping centre to shop.
On 24th,taxi driver droveus to Genting Highlands-me n bro played the 'Flying Coaster' ride.Mum n one relative who followed us went to casino to play jackpot n won $40.Haha...Then later we went to KLCC to shop n take a look at the twin tower which used to be the tallest tower in the world. After tt,2 of bro's friends who are malaysians met up with bro in KLCC n we went to have dinner at 'sin feng restaurant',cant really remember the name. This restaurant is famous for their Bat Kut Teh where u can see many photos of celebrities such as Jay Zhou,SHE n some hong kong stars came to eat. I jus found out tt the the bat kut teh in Malaysia is very different from Singapore's as ours, the soup is very clear but theirs is kinda milky n brown. The taste is also different n is more salty. Oh ya before we went to eat, we went to this street which is almost exactly the same as Bugis Street where they sell lots of cheap n 'copycat' things.Haha. i dono how to pronounce the name but is somehow like 'chee chong gai' in cantonese.
Then on 25th, the driver took us to Malacca. We went to a museum den bro & me went to buy a ticket which cost $2 in ringgit to see the inside of a portugease ship... The weather in Malacca was damn warm...After tt we went to Mahkota Parade Shopping Centre, things sold there are affordable n some are really quite cheap. I wanted to buy a watch there but didnt as it will be troublesome if my watch spoilt within the warranty period n i cant go back to malaysia jus for the watch. Then we went to 'A' Famosa there to take a look. My bro took a ride which cost $100 ringgit where is like a small plane whith no windows all these is like u r in a kite flying but there's a professional flyin the 'plane' .Haha... I forgot wats the name for it already... I wanted to take the ride too although it looks a bit scary but it was too late it was getting dark n i will waste my money taking the ride n seeing nothing. Perhaps next time i will go back there again. But i managed to play another ride... It was like go- kart but the vehicle is much bigger n more fun to drive. This ride cost $50 ringgit n u can drive 3big rounds which i think is bout 3km or more...
On the 26th, woke up early in the morning at bout 5.50am with alot of relatives to go to the cemetary to pray for Qing Ming Festival... In malaysia, u get to experience something different fr Singapore during QingMIng as after pple have pray finished, they will put firecrackers or those richers one will put fire works... And the whole mountain u see is full of cemetaries n the loud n almost nvr ending sound of Fire crackers n fireworks.... Is quite fun if u r involved in seeing all these... And all my relatives will gather n eat together becoz some get to see each other only once a year during this festival. One of my relatives even joke tt the sound of fire crackers will wake the dead up...Hahaz...After the praying, mum,bro n me called the taxi driver n he bought us to Sunway Lagoon. The shopping centre there is real big n of coz things there are expensive. Den Mum,Bro & Me went to buy a dry park ticket where u can only play those theme park rides tt are dry. The taxi driver also took us to Batu Cave where mum,bro n me have to climbed a total of 272steps to reach the cave.is so tiring n there's lots of those night flies flying around when climbing. Inside the cave are those statues of indian gods where pple can go there n pray. The cave is not very big to me....
After tt we also went to take a taxi boat to see places where there used to have Mines around around the river….. a half-an-hour ride…..
My bro went back to Singapore on the 27th becoz his leave is only till 27th. Mum n me sent bro to the train station. After tt one of my relatives drove me n mum to giant shopping centre to buy some stuff n also go visit 3other relavtives....
28th,Did nth much tt day... Went down to the coffee shop own by another relative n stayed there a few hours watching vcds drama while mum went out with relatives to see fortune teller n also visit other relatives. I didnt tag along jus becoz i know one of the relatives have a dog at their house n I AM SO SCARED OF DOGS tt i chose not to go..HAHA.... SO timid rite? Haiz.... i jus have phobias...not jus dogs but i am also a bit scared of cats... HAha.... Later at night mum called the taxi driver to sent us to the train station so as to let him earn more $$ as mum thinks the driver charged us at a cheap fare price even though our relatives have cars to sent us there...
Today reached home bout 9plus am... So tired even though there's bed on the train n i slept throughout the night... Mum n me were on the train for bout nearly 8hours... Yawnz....
